Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed a Far Cry Primal PS4 bundle that will be available at the same time as the release of the action adventure video game from Ubisoft. Far Cry Primal is out this coming 23 February so new and existing Far Cry fans will now have a chance to get the new title as part of an exclusive Primal PS4 bundle.
Although described as an exclusive bundle, the Far Cry Primal contains a standard 1TB Jet Back PlayStation 4 console and matching Dualshock 4, plus a physical copy of the game. This falls far short of some of the recent exclusive bundles we have seen from Sony such as the Limited Edition Darth Vader PS4 Bundle.
Exclusive Far Cry Primal PS4 Bundle
With Far Cry Primal, Ubisoft will place players right in the middle of the quest to become the first human to tame wild beasts while trying to survive in a world where they are also stalked prey. The latest instalment in the franchise is based in 10 000 BC and promises huge beasts, fierce predators, and a savage, hostile environment.
Players will need to use their wits to craft their weapons, survive attacks from predators, and tame the wild beasts that will help them conquer rival tribes and ultimately, the land of Oros to become the Apex Predator.
From giant Mammoths to Sabre-toothed Tigers, Primal will see gamers try to survive in a world where humans are right at the bottom of the food chain. With an award winning history, the franchise promises to keep up the trend with Primal. There will be no guns in the game as Takkar will have to craft his own weapons including bows, arrows, clubs, and the like.
As with preceding Far Cry games, Primal will be a sandbox game so players will have the freedom to go where they please in the games’ world. In addition to eliminating firearms in the game, Ubisoft also worked with linguistic experts to recreate a language similar to one used in parts of Europe at the time.
