June PlayStation Plus PS4 Games

SCE has released the line-up of June’s PlayStation Plus games with PS4 titles Gone Home and NBA 2K16 headlining the list. The two blockbuster franchises will be available on PS Plus from June 7 alongside 2 PlayStation 3 games and 2 PS Vita titles.

First up, Gone Home will be available for download to PS gamers with a PS plus subscription, the acclaimed exploration adventure game making its first appearance on the PlayStation Plus list. Released in February 2016, Gone Home has been described as one of the generation’s defining indie games. The game is also a previous game of the year and Best Debut BAFTA award-winner.

Here is an excerpt from the game’s description by Developer The Fullbright Company:

gonehome_1280x800June 7, 1995. 1:15 AM. You arrive home after a year abroad. You expect your family to greet you, but the house is empty. Something’s not right. Where is everyone? And what’s happened here? Find out for yourself as you explore the house on Arbor Hill in the award-winning game that’s been called “a remarkable achievement” (IGN) and “the greatest video game love story ever told” (The New York Times).”

NBA 2K16 PS4

The fact that there are only two titles again this month on PlayStation Plus is outweighed by far thanks to the quality of the titles on offer. Backing up the impressive Gone Home will be 2K games’ critically acclaimed basketball title NBA 2K16. This is the latest installment in the popular basketball simulation game and would normally retail at £54.99.

NBA 2K16 is the franchise’s most realistic sim to date whose brand new career and player modes were written, directed, and produced by Spike Lee. The games simulation and animations now provide a more true-to-life NBA experience, more realistic articulation, and smoother player movements.

The game also features an online multiplayer mode for up to 4 players and also supports remote play.

The rest of the PS Plus games are as follows:

  • Echochrome (PS3)
  • Siren: Blood Curse (Episodes 1-12) (PS3)
  • God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP/PS Vita)
  • Little Deviants (PS Vita)
