Another week has flown past in the world of PS4 news and now there are seven days left until christmas. Yooka Laylee Gets a Release Date

Playtonic has revealed the release date and a new trailer for Yooka-Laylee, the developers’ eagerly anticipated 3D platform-adventure game. Yooka-Laylee will be released on PS4 on 11 April 2017, marking the culmination of a journey that began on crowd-funding site Kickstarter. Playtonic’s announcement was accompanied by a reveal trailer which features Capital Cashino, a new world from the game. Read the full story here.


Secret Sorcery Releases Free to Play Tethered PS VR Demo

A free to play Tethered Demo is now available on PS VR.

INDIE Video games developer Secret Sorcery has released a free to play demo of its PS VR strategy game, Tethered. In what is one of the first announcements of its kind on PS VR, the critically acclaimed PS VR strategy game will be one of the first titles to have a demo on PlayStation VR.

Tethered is Secret Sorcery’s debut title and has been well received by gamers and critics alike, leading to calls for the sample content. Full story . . .

“Dreams is Big. Really big” Media Molecule Announces Delay to Start of Dreams PS4 Beta Trial

Francis and Imp are sorry to let you know that the Dreams Beta Trial on PS4 has been delayed.

PlayStation 4 gamers who were looking forward to sampling upcoming sandbox title Dreams will be disappointed to know that the start of the Dreams PS4 beta trial has been delayed. In an honest and heartfelt post on its blog, Media Molecule announced that the trial would no longer be open at the end of 2016 as previously announced.

The video games developer has cited the projects size as one of the reasons behind the delay. You can read the full details here.


Platinum Wireless Headset Available From 16 January 2017

Sony has confirmed the release date of its Platinum Wireless Headset as the 16th of January 2017. The top of the range gaming headset will be available across the SIEE region on that date.  Play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for free from 15th to 20th December

There’s only a couple of days left until this offer expires but you can still sample three game modes for free. Even better, any progress you make during the trial will carry over if you purchase the game.
