Stardust Vanguards blasts onto PS4 January 2016

In more PS4 games news, Team Zanrai has announced that their local-multiplayer battling game Stardust Vanguards is coming to PS4 in January 2016. The retro-inspired game harks back to competitive, free-for-all multiplayer classics and will be available on PS4 in January next year.

The frantic arcade action title allows for two to four players to take on the role of leaders in the military equipped with machine gun armed giant robots. Zanrai has developed the game to improve precision and arcade combat responsiveness.

Players will earn reinforcement points for every enemy they defeat which can then be used to call on allies to assist them in the heat of battle. Reinforcement points are also earned simply by staying alive, and the more a player earns, the more influential their allied squadrons will be.

Other features include a random event system that will force players to think on their feet by keeping every battle in the game unique. The updates have added a new take on the combat action in the game with seamless shifts in defence or attack.

Stardust Vanguards is a game that is perfectly suited for the couch multiplayer fans out there, and those on PlayStation 4 will be getting a treat come January.
