This year is shaping up nicely to be another memorable one on PS4 with yet another blockbuster title now confirmed. First announced at PlayStation Experience 2016, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy now has an official release date and will be out on the 23rd of August 2017. In addition to news of the highly anticipated action adventure video game, Naughty Dog has also revealed a brand new cinematic trailer and the first images of the games’ box art.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy out this August

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is set to be a single player DLC for the critically acclaimed Uncharted 4, and will feature two heroines in Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross. The expansion will also act as a sequel to Uncharted 4 and will launch across the PAL region on August 23 at a SRP of £29.99 (€39.99). Naughty Dog has affirmed that the developer is working on The Lost Legacy as a true Uncharted game in its own right.

In the upcoming installment of the Uncharted series, Chloe will become the main protagonist in the story as she and Nadine take on an Indian adventure in a quest to find the Tusk of Ganesh. Naughty Dog has also promised that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will feature all new destinations, improved gameplay and the awe-inspiring cinematic moments made famous in Uncharted 4.

The award winning developer has also treated fans to brand new footage from the game in which Chloe and Nadine try to unravel the secrets to the Tusk’s location. See it below:

In terms of getting your hands on the game, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is now available to pre-order. Any players who have already purchased the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Triple Pack, Explorer’s pack, or Digital Deluxe Edition will automatically receive a free digital edition of The Lost Legacy when the game launches. However, that benefit does not extend to the pre-order bonus outlined below;

Currently, any PS4 players that pre-order Uncharted: The Lost Legacy at participating retailers will get a free digital code to download Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. For those who choose to pre-order the game on the PlayStation store, a Lost Legacy PS4 theme designed by Truant Pixel will be yours instead.
