There are a number of games that have come to the PlayStation 4 platform after being funded on crowd sourcing site KickStarter, giving gamers and fans a chance to get involved in getting a game made for their favourite console.

From the talented creators that brought us Tearaway and Ratchet and Clank comes  co-op action adventure game with a naughty streak. Indie game development studio Foam Sword is comprised of veteran game developers previously involved in the above mentioned titles who running a KickStarter campaign to bring the game to the PS4 console.


 

 

Successfully Funded PS4 Games

Yooka-Laylee

Yooka Laylee PS4

The KickStarter campaign for Banjo Kazooie successor, Yooka-Laylee, the next big project from a group of former game developers from Rare was over-funded within minutes.The 3D platformer took just under 40 minutes reach its funding target of £175,000.

The former British video game developer company, known for legendary Nintendo 64 classic games such as Donkey Kong Country and Banjo-Kazooie have come together in order to form Playtonic Games (formerly known as Project Ukulele) to create a spiritual successor to their most cherished works from the past!

Dreamfall Chapters PS4.

Dreamfall Chapters is the long-awaited sequel to acclaimed PC adventure games The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey and was successfully funded to the tune of $1,538,425. The game is now in production and is set to be released on PlayStation 4.

République:

République PS4 Game

The five-episode République saga is set for release on March 22 meaning PS4 gamers will get the complete package at launch. République will be available as a digital download and in physical disc format. In developing the story driven action and adventure game, Camouflag were heavily influenced by games from the 32-bit era such as classic games on PS one.
