The new and approved version of Air Conflicts: Vietnam Ultimate Edition has been confirmed as coming to the PlayStation platform this spring. Built incorporating feedback from the games’ community of players, the dog fight sim will bring with it amazing new features for air combat game fans on PS4 to enjoy.

In the announcement, developers  stated that they had improved the game by taking into consideration players’ suggestions, as well as analysing critical reviews of the game, resulting in  many new major developments coming about because of this feedback.

A list of the new features includes:

  • A new simulation mode
  • New content and all known bugs resolved
  • Players can now fly to North Vietnam
  • Reworked control schemes
  • Improved game-play and HUD
  • Bigger maps and more detailed aircraft

Air Conflicts: Vietnam Ultimate Edition also boasts some unique features exclusive to PlayStation 4:

  • Headtracking. Players will be able to control the cockpit camera, the speaker function, and the controller lightbar using head movements.
  • Facebook. Facebook has now been implemented into the game to encourage social interaction and sharing.
  • Additional multi-player mode. An extra multi-player mode exclusive to, and only available on PS4
  • New, ”Lost Letters” campaign. Fly as legendary ace pilot Nguyen An Toon as you take part in famous historical events from the war including the last known US activity in Vietnam; Flight Of the Tiger.

Air Conflicts Vietnam Ultimate Edition is the last installment in the Air Conflicts series and the first addition not to utilise the World War theme.
