So the guys at Sony have revealed more information about Bloodborne’s next patch which aims to solve several user issues.

The game’s developers are still working to establish a global release of the 1.03 patch before the end of April. Even though the exact date hasn’t been specified yet, popular communities and forums are still providing valuable feedback to the game’s developers to ensure all bases are covered.

What must be noted is that online play will be disabled for a short period of time in order to update the servers. For PS4 gamers that can’t access some online features (or all of them), ensure that you’ve checked your NAT type and make sure that the appropriate ports on your network are open.

Here’s how to check the Network Address Translation of your network:

Go to: PS4’s Home Menu, Settings, hit Network, View Connection Status and NAT Type. Check whether the NAT type is 1, 2 or 3. Note that you might not have a working connection when playing under type 3.

The following are the ports that connect to PSN as well as Bloodborne’s servers.

PSN:

TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480, 5223, 8080

UDP: 3478, 3479, 3658

Bloodborne’s servers:

TCP: 18671, 20443

UDP:9305, 93063

Playstation 4 owners can also take advantage of the large number of resources available in the PS4 Online Manual for help with troubleshooting any issues.
