Doom PS4 game

id Software has announced that Doom will be available for PlayStation 4 on May 13th. Friday the 13th. – there is always something eerie associated with this day, and all Doom fans will relate to that on May this year. The new release will include a bonus collector’s edition with one of everyone’s favorite – the Revenant.

Why him, you might ask? Well, with all the hellspawn in Doom, the Revenant is someone everybody looks up to because he’s the sole representation of Doom, the video game. He has personality, and he’s relentless. There’s nothing to hate in a posessed corpse full of blood with missile launchers on his shoulders. That’s pure Doom for you.

And that is also why the Revenant won’t just be on the game box, but a big part in the collector’s edition as well – the Revenant is going to be a 12-inch-tall statue made from PVC. Check out some of the pictures to see how amazing the statue looks like! It sure feels like a lot of sweat and hard work was put into making this.

Considering how many developers and designers took to make Doom, a good thing here is that they made sure to keep all core aspects of the original character intact, including the skeletal body, the torso covered in blood, the rockets found on top of shoulders, and a bloody head on top of it all.

Another thing that was enhanced, along with the touch-up of all characters is a backstory for each demon in Doom, which serves as a way of informing all the design choices. It basically means that you can see Revenant’s body and figure out what happened to him by connecting what you see with the lore — he has indications of a bad cult experiment all over the body.

Software announced that Doom will be available to everyone around the world on May 13th. When you walk up to a Revenant in this game, you will have to keep your focus and be careful as well. The developers made sure that each one of their demons — especially someone as heavy as the Revenant — is a unique piece of a puzzle that brings a whole new level of the style of combat. Just constantly think of him as a high-priority target. Make him hold still with a good stun fired from the Plasma Rifle. Now, here’s a secret – in order to add the stun effect to your Plasma Rifle, you will need to mod it, so make sure to invest in that as soon as possible.

The Revenant is only the first in line of the numerous Demons you will encounter while fighting your way across the vast landscapes of Mars and into Hell itself. If you’ve never heard of this game, Doom is a fast-paced shooter with a single-player campaign (competitive multiplayer mode should become available in the near future), and it’s a game that features a map editor, called SnapMap, which allows a player to create and play with their own content.
