It’s that time of the month again when PlayStation fans can look forward to the free games made available on PlayStation Plus. The list of free PS4 games on PS Plus for December 2017 is now out, headlined by THQ’s action role-playing hack and slash title Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition. Also on the list of December’s free PS4 games are Forma. 8, and Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends.
PS Plus bundles are always a highlight of PlayStation monthly calendar. And as usual, the list also contains PS Vita and PS3 games. In addition, two of November’s titles will roll over to December as part of a PS Plus Christmas bonus. The games will be available to Download from the 5th of December 2017.
Free PS4 Games on PS Plus December 2017
The list of Free PS4 Games on PS Plus in December 2017 is as follows:
First up is Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, the role-playing hack and slash action video game developed by Vigil Games. The title is a remaster of the PS3 original, Darksiders II and comes with all the DLC from that game. The Deathinitive edition also features improved visuals that make the most of the PS4’s power.
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition will see players take on the role of Death, who is hellbent on avenging his brothers lost honor. Playing as one of the legendary horsemen of the Apocalypse means a wild but exciting ride through the celestial world of Darksiders 2. So sharpen your scythe and face up to all kinds of enemies. In addition, you can also amass weapons to improve your arsenal in this fun, fantasy world.
Also coming to PS4 for free on PlayStation Plus in December will be Forma.8, MixedBag’s unique take on the classic metroidvania formula. Last but not least, joining December’s free PS games on PS Plus will be Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends. The game is based on the movie franchise and lets you fight alongside all the main characters from the films.
Showdown of Legendary Legends makes for a great couch co-op title as up to four players can take part at any given time. You’ll go head to head in the arena to discover who is the ultimate master of Kung Fu in what is a fun and simple to pick up title. Each character has their own style, and there are dozens of locations where the action takes place that will be familiar to fans of the Kung Fu Panda films.
Christmas Bonuses on PS Plus
The list of upcoming free PS4 games on PS Plus is not all PS4 gamers will get in December. Sony is rolling over two titles from November’s bundle, namely Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and That’s You! With the two having been already available, you can download them right away. The rest of December’s games will be available on the 5th of next month.
