Hot on the heels of Microsofts 2 billion acquisition of Mojang, the creator of the popular world building game Minecraft, the disc version of the game has been confirmed for release for PlayStation 4.
The digital version of Minecraft has been available on PS4 since the begining of September and following on from the success of the digital version, a disk version of the title will be available from the 3rd of October 2014. The Playstation 4 edition of the game will feature worlds which are thirty six times bigger than on the PlayStation 3 platform -and existing PS3 users will be able to import their PS3 saves to the new PS4 edition for an even more immense and deeper experience!
In addition, a day 1 patch will be available on the same day as the disc release, while a PS Vita edition and cross buy details will also be announced in the near future.
