Xing: The Land Beyond finally has a confirmed release date on PS4! The long awaited puzzle adventure game from White Lotus Interactive will be released on PS4 and PS VR February 13 2019. That’s next week, and the game will reportedly also come with lots of PlayStation-exclusive content.
The upcoming Xing: The Land Beyond release date was announced in a post on the PlayStation Blog. Koriel Kreur, co-founder and developer at White Lotus acknowledged the length of time fans have had to wait; “Our PS4 fans have been anticipating the release of Xing: The Land Beyond for quite a while,” he wrote. The atmospheric puzzler is already available on PC via Steam.
Full VR and PlayStation Exclusive Bonus Content
And to make up for it Kreur goes on to reveal that Xing fans on PlayStation will also get a a few extra’s. “We are pleased to say that there will be new bonus content available on PlayStation exclusively!” The bonus content will be an extra mini-level that is only available on PS4.
Great news. In the post Kreur also reveals that the full game will be playable in VR. Xing: The Land Beyond has been optimised for both the PS4 and PS4 Pro. The puzzle adventure comes with multiple options for graphics. As a result, whether you’re on the PS4 or PS4 Pro console, – you’ll still be able to get the best framerate and fidelity for your machine.
In addition, that means that The Land Beyond also comes with full PlayStation VR support. All the content in the game can be enjoyed either through your TV, or PS4 VR headset.
White Lotus began working on Xing: The Land Beyond in 2012. The game is a first-person puzzle adventure set in the Afterlife world of Xing. Players then have to explore and uncover the secrets to the reason they are there. After crossing the threshold between life and death, you’ll be transported through different spirit-filled realms and puzzles.
And now the atmospheric puzzle adventure lands on PS4 next week. For those looking for a challenging yet fulfilling experience, particularly on PS VR, Xing may just be the game for you!
