Super Stardust Ultra is now out on Playstation 4 and the games’ makers have released the redesigned shoot-em-up title’s launch trailer. Available as a download since the 11’th of February the game also has a special 20% off discount on it which ends on the 18th February.

When Super Stardust Ultra was confirmed for PlayStation 4, we were impressed by the extensive depth and variety in the game. Packed with 5 newly introduced planets, nine different single player game modes, and a host of visiual enhancements that take advantage of the PS4 consoles power, the wait for the PlayStation 4 exclusive was well worth it!

Originally released on PS3 in 2007, the game was also released on PSP as well as on PS Vita in 2012 with Super Stardust Delta. In the game, players pilot a start fighter to defend planets against an enemy intent on destroying you. To make matters worse, a deadly meteor storm will be raging at the same time as you battle your foes. Players will have to destroy all their path through pure skill and accuracy.

Super Stardust Ultra also makes it easier to compete against your friends, with options available for direct challenges or playing two-to-four player local split screen battles or teaming up in co-op mode. On top of the original game modes the new title will also have at least nine new modes and global leader boards There is also a slew of new planets, better visual effects, and the ability to compare your scores with fellow Super Stardust gamers from around the world.
