Well. Its happening! – Earlier today video game developer Bungie revealed that Destiny 2 will be the title for its sequel to multiplayer first-person shooter video game Destiny. The popular game was released in September 2014 and now Bungie has announced the action role-playing game’s follow-up title. Well we say announced, – the video game developer simply teased us with a new Destiny 2 profile picture on its Twitter account:

Destiny 2 Coming to PS4?
The first version of the game was released on PlayStation 4 and on the Xbox consoles but it is unclear at the time of writing if that will be the same for the sequel.
Obviously more details will be forthcoming shortly, but for now perhaps it is enough to know that one of the most popular games in recent times will be getting a brand new title. As with many modern releases, the image is similar to ones leaked recently by an Italian retailer. In those pictures, Destiny 2 is slated for a September release, but we await official confirmation from Bungie.
The games’ last major update after a slew of expansion updates is out tomorrow. The content update will is entitled Age of Triumph. In the meantime keep checking back for more updates on Destiny 2 right here on PS4 Mag.
