Sony’s popular ‘Vote to Play’ poll is back and is now open as 3 new PlayStation 4 games bid to make it onto next month’s list of  PS Plus games. From the 9th of February, PlayStation Plus members can vote to decide which of Assault Android Cactus, Broforce, or Action Hank! will be added to the list of free PlayStation Plus games in March.

The latest round of Vote to Play games have a deliberate common theme of fun couch co-op games that players can enjoy with friends. The three titles were picked for their accessibility to both casual gamers and the more hardcore who like to push their gaming to the limits.

PlayStation Plus subscribers wishing to register their vote simply have to log into PS4 using their PlayStation Network account, navigate to the top left corner of the PlayStation 4 home screen and select Vote to Play to select their choice. Assault Android Cactus

Featuring frenetic couch co-op gaming, Assault Android Cactus is the Arcade style sci-fi twin stick shooter from Witch Beam. The independent Aussie game developer’s have won a host of awards for the vivid sci-fi tile which places a lot of emphasis on stylish action and high pressure gameplay.

Assault Android Cactus lets players their character choose from a roster of 8 colourful heroines who they have to help escape unscathed from a stranded space fighter that is coming under attack from its own robot workers.

Cactus is a junior in the Interplanetary Police but will have to do whatever it takes to get through the 25 stages in the campaign which feature hazards like shifting floors and five huge mechanical bosses. Players can also select the multi-player mode for a local co-op of up to four players against the enemy across all game modes.

Assault Android Cactus also supports Shareplay for a virtual couch co-op experience for players.


Broforce

Broforce, the action-adventure game that relives the adventures of 80’s action heroes, is a side-scrolling title developed by Free Lives under publishing by Devolver Digital. The couch co-op run and gun platform video game is part tribute and partly a spoof of the heroes of the classic games and movies of the 80’s.

Featuring online co-op support, Broforce also boasts over the top visuals and a storyline that lets players take on the role of an underfunded army of heroes from the 80’s and 90’s. This motley crew of heroes from a bygone era have to do battle with terror against the backdrop of reactive and entirely destructible nostalgic scenes.

Pick this one for tactical play, distinctive attacks, special abilities, and lots of gunfire and explosions in a fight against terrorism.


Action Henk!

Action Henk!

Developed by Rage Squid and published by Curve Digital, Action Hank! is the fun racer that takes players through toy room settings in control of past-it action heroes. Players will need to excel at their timing as well as use their momentum to outdo their friends or their previous high scores.

With a tag-line that goes “Butt-slide to victory,” Action Hank! offers addictive gameplay and a quick co-op experience that casual gamers and the more experienced will both enjoy and love.
