Great news for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita owners: One of the favourite features on PlayStation 3, Themes, is coming to PS4 and PS Vita! In a press conference in Toko, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia announced that the popular feature will arrive on Sony’s latest console as part of an upcoming software update.
In addition to themes, Vita owners can also look forward to getting access to the ‘Live from PlayStation’ app, which will also be part of the update. The two updates (v2.00 for PS4 and v.3.30 for PS Vita) will allow PlayStation gamers express themselves through customising their gaming experience throughout the PS3, PS4, and Vita platforms. The feature has long been one of the most requested since the PS4 console was launched at the end of 2013.
The Software update also means that PS Vita owners will soon be able to watch PS4 live streams from Twitch and USTREAM from the handheld console through the “Live from PlayStation” app. Now PlayStation 4 owners will now be able to keep up with their favourite channels even when on the move!
