Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Story Trailer

Naughty Dog’s eagerly anticipated action-adventure third-person shooter video game is out on PlayStation 4 on the 29th April, 2016 in the UK and Ireland. To whet fans appetites, the acclaimed Games Developer recently released the official Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Story Trailer.

In what the team at Naughty Dog think is their best trailer yet, the video is packed with cut scenes and action sequences that will have fans of the franchise clamouring for more. Clearly there’s plenty at stake, not only for Nathan Drake in the latest Uncharted title, but for Naughty Dog to deliver as well. See the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Story Trailer below:

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Story Trailer: The best yet?

The new Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Story Trailer release was without its own controversy however, as the first trailer posted was rumoured to include a scene featuring artwork that appeared to have been lifted from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. That trailer has now been taken offline.

According to a report over on Stuff.tv, the beach setting seemed far too obvious and similar to be a mere coincidence, something that then set the internet alight with accusations and denials. Could it be too far fetched to hope that this could be an unintentional leak of a future collaboration/ tie-up between the two games and their developers?

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End takes place three years after the events of Uncharted 3. Nathan Drake has seemingly given up his former life for a more sedate one before Sam, his brother entices him to one last jaunt in search of lost pirate treasure.

Unable to resist, Nathan joins Sam on a journey into Libertia, the pirate utopia in the new game that is set deep in the forests of Madagascar. It is here that the two brothers will begin their hunt for Captain Henry Avery’s long-lost treasure.

That is only the beginning though, as the game takes players on a journey across the world that includes cities, jungles, and everything in between in the quest for the elusive treasure.

This is the latest, and possibly the last, installment in the Uncharted video game franchise. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is being developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The soon to be released action adventure third person shooter is the sequel to 2011’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

  1. This game is why I own a PS4 and why I play video games. Looking forward to losing myself in this amazingly rich adventure!
Naughty Dog deserves all the financial rewards they will no doubt amass from their hard work on this game.
