The new version of puzzler game Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) will be available this summer for PS3 and PS4! Its definitive version, Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut, was announced by Grip Games a few months ago. For those who may remember, the first version of this video game was released for Microsoft Windows in December 2011. Actually, Q.U.B.E. is a first-person puzzle video game that requires the players to navigate through the game levels by manipulating different coloured cubes that are placed all around.

Gameplay – At the beginning of the game, the player’s character wakes up inside a mysterious all-white room. He has at his disposal a pair of special high-tech gloves and the few game instructions to solve many physics-based platforming and puzzle challenges. Using these gloves, the player moves cubes of different colors (red, yellow, blue, purple and green cubes), that are on the floors, ceilings and walls of the various rooms.

The player’s goal is to manipulate these blocks in the right way through a series of chambers. Each of them leads to the next room / chamber until you find the final exit. Combining quick reactions, logic and precision you will have to go through 10 different levels. However, sometimes it seems like there is no way out of cube puzzles. You will agree with us that Q.U.B.E.: Director’s Cut looks very claustrophobic!

New game story – A new Director’s Cut of puzzler Q.U.B.E. will be accompanied by a completely new game story. This story was created by famous writer Rob Yescombe, who also wrote stories for games such as Rime, Alien Isolation, The Division and the Crysis franchise. It’s like a 3d puzzle inside your own brain that you have to solve. Also, it will be available a time-trial puzzle mode (called Against the Qlock), where you will play against the time.

Puzzler Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut will come both the PS3 &PS4, and it will be released this summer. We expect the game to look gorgeous and interesting, even better than the previous version.
